Troubleshooting

Find the cause, then adjust the settings

Connection problems usually come from subscription status, client permissions, routing rules, route selection or the current network environment. Test one factor at a time to avoid changing several settings and losing track of the cause.

ACCOUNT

Account & subscriptions

Registration uses only a username and password. After activating the service, the client and subscription entry points are kept together in the user panel, making it easier to keep configuration sources consistent across platforms.

Do I need an email address to register for VPNQV?

No email address is required. Register with a username and password, and keep your login details secure. After registering, open the user panel to view plans, get your subscription and manage active services.

Where can I get my subscription after activating a plan?

Sign in to the user panel, open the client download area, select the platform for your current device and get your subscription. VPNQV supports Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. Marketing pages do not provide static subscription URLs, and copying unknown configurations from pages outside the account area is not recommended.

How should I update my subscription link?

Find the current subscription in your client and run its update or refresh action. If old routes are still shown, get the subscription again from the user panel and import it once more. Do not manually rewrite subscription contents before updating, or route names, protocol parameters and routing rules may not sync correctly.

Do I need to buy another plan when I change devices?

No separate purchase is needed when changing devices. VPNQV supports unlimited devices online at the same time. Sign in to the user panel on the new device to get the appropriate client and subscription. When the old device is no longer in use, delete the saved subscription information from it.

CONNECTION

Connections & troubleshooting

When troubleshooting a connection, confirm the account and subscription status first, then check system permissions and the client mode. Change one condition at a time so you can identify which layer contains the problem.

What should I check first when the client cannot connect?

First confirm that your plan and traffic status are normal, then update the subscription and switch to another route. Check whether the client has system network permission, whether the local time is accurate, and whether another proxy or security app is also managing the network. Restart the client after checking, then try connecting again.

Why can my browser connect while a particular app cannot use the proxy?

A common reason is that the app does not read the system proxy, or the current routing rules do not cover its connection. Switch to global mode for a quick test, then adjust the rule mode based on the result. On desktop, also check whether the client offers a TUN takeover method suitable for the app. Restore rule-based routing after testing if that matches your needs.

How should I choose between rule mode and global mode?

Rule mode follows the client’s routing rules to determine each connection path, making it suitable for everyday use of both local and international services. Global mode sends more connections through the current route and is useful for checking whether an app was missed by the rules. If global mode works but rule mode does not, check the rules first instead of repeatedly changing accounts.

What should I do if the connection does not recover after sleep or a network change?

Disconnect the current session first, then select a route again. On mobile devices, confirm that the system still allows the client to keep the network active in the background. On desktop, check whether the old system proxy state remained after waking from sleep. If the network has changed, update the subscription and restart the client to help rule out effects from the old session.

ROUTES

Speed & routes

Route selection depends on more than geographic distance. The target service region, access network, route type and routing method all affect actual connection performance.

What should I do if performance slows during peak hours?

Pause bandwidth-heavy syncing, downloads or backups, then try another route in the same region. If the target service is in a specific region, prioritize an exit route near that service rather than judging only by your local distance. You can also compare rule mode with global mode to determine whether routing configuration is causing the slowdown.

When choosing a route, should I focus on the region or the route type?

Filter first by the region where the target website or tool is located, then compare the available route types. For services in Asia, start by checking nearby regions such as Hong Kong, Singapore or Japan. For services elsewhere, an exit route near the target service is usually more direct. Actual performance still depends on your current network and the target service’s routing.

What is the difference between IEPL, relay and direct routes?

IEPL focuses on a stable structure for cross-border links. Relay routes use an intermediate entry point to optimize the connection path in some network environments, while direct routes connect to the exit from your current network. Each type suits different conditions; when performance fluctuates, test routes for the target region individually instead of relying on one type exclusively.

What regions does VPNQV cover?

VPNQV covers 100+ countries / 190+ routes. The routes page shows regions, cities and route types. In practice, build a shortlist based on the target service’s region, then connect to routes individually through the client and choose the one that performs best on your current network.

BILLING

Billing & refunds

Monthly subscriptions and traffic packages use different traffic rules. Confirm your usage frequency and traffic needs before choosing, so the plan better matches how you actually use it.

What monthly subscription plans are available?

Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. Traffic resets monthly on the activation date. Consider your everyday browsing, streaming, developer tools and multi-device usage rather than comparing traffic allowances alone.

How are traffic packages billed, and do they reset periodically?

Traffic packages include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. They remain available until used, never expire and do not reset monthly. They suit users with irregular usage who prefer to allocate traffic according to actual consumption.

How does upgrading a monthly subscription work mid-cycle?

When you upgrade a monthly subscription mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Before upgrading, review your current plan, remaining status and target plan in the user panel. Traffic still resets monthly on the activation date, so rely on the current subscription status shown in the panel.

Which payment methods are supported?

VPNQV supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. After selecting a plan in the user panel, available methods appear during checkout. Before paying, verify the plan name, traffic allowance and amount. After payment, return to the panel to check the subscription status and avoid submitting the same order twice.

How do I request a refund?

VPNQV offers a 14-day, no-questions-asked refund. To apply, sign in to the user panel, open the ticket area, provide the relevant order and refund request, and keep the order status available for verification. Eligibility and processing follow the refund policy page and the order’s actual status.
